How do I register for SAPP term long or short courses?
Full-time or part-time University of Oregon students may register for weekend short courses by using DuckWeb, prior to the first day of any course (unless DuckWeb is closed for the term.) In the event DuckWeb is closed, you may go to the Office of the Registrar (on the second floor of Oregon Hall.)

What if Duckweb is closed?
Run to the Office of Registrar. (on the second floor of Oregon Hall.)

How late in the term may I register?
We encourage early registration, when possible. Late registrations risk not receiving packet information until the following week. You may register for any of the short courses up until the Friday before the date of the class. If Duckweb is closed, go to the Registrar?s Office.

What if I register and then I can't attend?
SAPP weekend short courses are typically, a little different than regular full-term courses. Generally, you may drop a SAPP short course up until the business day (Friday) prior. In most cases, you may drop the course by using Duckweb. If Duckweb is closed RUN to 333 Oregon Hall (second floor) to the registrar. Procedures for dropping full term courses may be found in your "Schedule of Classes."

What if I have to miss part of the short course?
Attendance is mandatory. If you feel that you will not be able to comply with attendance requirements, please drop the course to avoid receiving a "Y" ( no basis for grade). Alternative arrangements may be made in the event of a documented emergency.

When do I have to pay for the classes?
All fees are billed to your regular U of O tuition bill. You do not have to pre-pay the fees.

What is included in my registration fees?
Fees cover the cost of your packet (which you will receive at the door on the morning the course begins), honorariums to the presenters(s), and SAPP administrative costs. Term-long course fees cover the cost of instruction, guest presenters, and SAPP administrative staff.

How do I register if I'm not a student?
You may call the SAPP office at (541) 346-4135 or the University of Oregon Community Education Program at (541) 346-5614 for assistance. The registration fee is $60 per credit. You have the option to attend the entire short course or any portion thereof. You may, also, request a Certificate of Attendance, which may serve as proof of attendance for professional development hours and/or re-certification purposes. In the event that you choose to attend for U of O credit, you must attend all sessions, complete all in-class assignments, and a final examination.
