To Access The Readings

(You will only be able to access readings off campus, via the web, if you have UO student ID). If you are not a UO student, see instruction #2.
Go to SAPP Home Page http://sapp.uoregon.edu Click on Course Information, select CURRENT TERM, select Course TYPE (long or short course), then click on The CRN Number of your course. Scroll down and you will see a list of readings by title. Select the TITLE of the article you wish to read. You now have the full text article. Either read on-line, print or you may E-mail them.

1. If you are using an internet provider other than UO system, You will be asked to enter your name (as it
is written on your student ID card), a ID number, and pin number. In both cases, the ID number and pin
number may be your student ID number.

First time users: Enter your university ID number as your PIN (no spaces or dashes). If there was no PIN in your record, the system will accept the number you just keyed as your PIN, and you will be asked to enter it again (as verification). If the system says that number is invalid, try leaving the PIN line blank, then creating a new PIN as directed on the next screen.

2. I STILL CAN’T ACCESS THE READINGS!!! Use a computer on campus, (library or computing
center). Follow the above directions. When you have the full text article on screen, click on EMAIL and
email the readings to your email address or see

Help with Your UO Library Account

Your library account (patron record) allows you access to additional features of the online catalog and circulation systems. You can change your mailing addresses, phone numbers, and pin; you can see what you have checked out and when it's due, you can renew your materials, you can see what is on hold for you and if it has arrived, you can place holds on books that are checked out, make requests for Orbis or ILL materials, and you can receive notification when new books of interest to you arrive in the library.

Name: You may enter your name first-name-first or last-name-first: Susan Stevens, or Stevens Susan

ID Number:

Changing your PIN:

We recommend that you change your PIN on a regular basis. This can be done by:

My username and PIN aren't working. Who do I contact?

If you get an error message after entering your name, university ID, and PIN, such as "Invalid PIN" or "Sorry, cannot locate patron record", contact library circulation staff at 541/346-3065 or by sending an email message to the Circulation staff. They can check your patron record and resolve any problems.

To Earn a “Pass” (P*)

  1. Cite material from the readings and the sessions accurately, concisely, and in your own words. Answers should reflect your ability to read, understand, and articulate the facts, concepts and theories presented in the seminar. This level is considered AVERAGE for an upper division course.
  2. Quality work is expected, including appropriate grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
  3. Double space using a 12 font on all portions of the exam, with 1-inch margins around the page.
  4. Attach this completed cover sheet to the front of your exam. No additional folders or covers, please.
  5. Retain a copy of your work for your records until your grade is posted on “Duckweb”.
  6. Late Papers must be approved IN WRITING three working days prior to the due date. Late papers will not be graded until the end of the following term.
Please Note
  1. Duplicate papers will receive an automatic NO PASS. Definition of “Duplicate” is at the discretion of the grader.
  2. Final grades will be available on Duckweb during the end of term U of O grading period.
