Like any other business, prevention program management has some very essential components. This workshop will address the following: Effective time management, managing your "team" for positive outcome development, creating data driven science based program implementation, writing comprehensive reports, and working with community coalitions. Prevention Program Administration is unique in that in addition to the standard administration issues i.e., budgeting, employee management and constructive time management; it addresses basic prevention principles for substance abuse prevention. These include the Strategic Prevention Framework as well as planning and evaluation strategies. Also addressed are issues related to working with community prevention coalitions and creating links to treatment interventions.
