Self-awareness is crucial in the helping professions. This two-day interactive course will introduce students to the challenges and rewards of counseling, therapy, or any family and human services work. We will explore patterns and themes from mythology and depth psychology, and how they can be helpful in preparing students to be helpers and healers. Class format will be lecture/discussion with interactive role-plays and other activities, including art and storytelling.
Please note: This is a "self-support" course. This self-support fee listed above replaces the cost of regular tuition and is paid regardless of student residency status or total course load. Course fees are subject to change at anytime. For more information on tuition consult the Registrar's Office. Students using financial aid, VA benefits, or other scholarships should review the details of their financial package to confirm that self-support fee courses are covered.
